Sukha means happiness and comfort. The 4th house is about what grounds us — the mother, the home environment, fixed property (land and buildings), education received in youth, vehicles, and the emotional foundations laid in childhood. It is the most private house in the chart: the IC, the nadir, the bottom of the sky at the time of birth. What happens in the 4th is felt inwardly before it is expressed outwardly.

Mother§

The mother is the 4th house's first signification. The karaka Moon, the sign Cancer's association with nourishment — all confirm this.
